Beginner Solder Prong Setting Class 10/21

Learn to make your own soldered, sterling silver prong setting for flat backed stones or curved back stones.  Choose a beautiful stone from our huge inventory or bring your own.  Even though this method is adaptable to different shapes, for your first one, a flat backed, smooth stone will be the easiest.  Students can make as many settings is class as time allows!

Skill: Beginner Soldering

Class Fee: $25 due upon registration 

Kit Fee: Varies based on stone size.  The sample shown is a 1”x1” Chrysocolla & Malachite for $14.99 plus $11.60 for the sterling & solder fee.  A handheld torch is required for this class. Three options: bring one with you, rent one from us for the class for an extra $8, or one can be purchased at Pumpkin Glass and get a 10% class day discount.
