Hidden Stone Cuff 3/17

Learn to use nothing but cold connections to make this cuff bracelet with no solder joins.  Mold layers of copper/sterling into a cuff bracelet and "hide" a special cabochon inside!  All kits will have a copper base with a sterling or copper front layer.

Skill: Intermediate Metalwork/Foldforming; to be successful, some prior experience is needed working with metal. Students will be forming a sheet(s) of copper into shape by repeatedly heating it with a torch and hammering. 
Class Fee: $25 due upon registration
Kit Fee: $12 for all copper metal; $44 - $53 (depending on wrist size) for copper base with sterling front.

Required: A handheld torch is required for the class. Three options: bring one with you, rent one from us for the class for an extra $8, or one can be purchased at Pumpkin Glass and get a 10% class day discount.
