Solar Eclipse Pendant Class 4/25

The next total solar eclipse to cross the continental U.S. coast-to-coast won’t occur until 2045, so I am all about commemorating the one this year in April! Solder together a copper “sun” and a sterling silver “moon” to create a Solar Eclipse pendant! Students can hammer in texture and stamp their pieces to give them more details if desired. A moonstone is included in the kit to top the front of the pendant (the picture shows an aqua chalcedony as I am out of moonstones at the moment!). Students can choose to make a copper chain or a sterling chain to hang their pendant from.

Skill: Beginner Soldering and Metal Work

Class Fee: $25 due upon registration 

Kit Fee: $34 sterling chain/$23 copper chain. A handheld torch which is required for the class. Three options: bring one with you, rent one from us for the class for an extra $8, or one can be purchased at Pumpkin Glass and get a 10% class day discount.
