Splash Recycled Silver Charm Class 7/20

Put your sterling silver wire and sheet scraps to use! Learn how to melt your leftover silver pieces with a torch to make these charms for a myriad of uses on bracelets, necklaces or earrings. Bring your cleaned scrap and we will weigh it to give you credit toward anything else you need for pieces. Don’t have any? No problem! We have plenty!

Beginners with make the cast charms and use a hole punch for hanging and epoxy to add a bronze granulation in the center. Intermediate students can solder a ring on the charm for hanging and to add the bronze.

Class Fee: $25 due upon registration

Kit fee: varies; $22 average for 3 charms with earwires for 2, depending on amount of silver used.  A handheld torch is required for the class. Three options: bring one with you, rent one from us for an extra $8, or purchase one at Pumpkin Glass and get a 10% class day discount. Necklaces, bails, and chains shown are not included but all are available for purchase with a discount.
